Jamila van de Voort is a Change and Transformation Manager, a Master Black Belt in Lean, and an EQ Coach. She is the founder of Change With Jamila, a practice built on one belief: meaningful change begins with people.
Her perspective on leadership was shaped early.
Growing up in a home marked by instability, she learned to navigate complexity, read emotions, and build resilience long before entering the world of work.
By the age of nine, she had already attended three primary schools. While her classmates followed the lesson, she corrected her own workbooks. It was an early lesson in self-leadership, independence, and observation.
Over the past 20 years, Jamila has guided leaders and teams across more than 10 industries. In every organisation, she saw the same pattern: change fails not because of the plan, but because the human side is overlooked.
This insight led her to develop the LOVE Strategy. Lead with EQ. Be open to learning. Value resilience. Engage and collaborate. It is a simple but powerful approach that reconnects strategy with behaviour and restores clarity, trust, and direction.
